Promotional Content
We designed and animated a suite of visual content for this five-screen film installation by American artist Suzanne Lacy, presented as part of Manchester International Festival 2025 at Aviva Studios.
Produced in collaboration with football icons Vivianne Miedema (Manchester City & Netherlands) and Ali Riley (Angel City FC & New Zealand), the project explores the experiences, voices, and demands of women in football.
We created a title card as the project’s unifying element. It’s minimal in design, fluid in motion, and carefully crafted to support rather than overshadow the voices at its core.
For the promotional campaign, we crafted 3 animated pieces optimized for digital and social platforms, ensuring the project’s visual identity remained consistent and recognisable across every touchpoint.
Looping seamlessly across five high-mounted screens, the footage is punctuated at intervals by bold, minimal interventions.
These brief, animated pieces are designed to draw attention toward a reflective moment. We created 16 custom text animations; one for each question posed in the film.

A question asked by one of the interviewed football players appears on-screen, sometimes stark in black, other times set against a solid wash of colour.
The design extended beyond the screen into prints, offered as merchandise during the festival.
